Once the padishah ordered chain mail from a blacksmith. The blacksmith forged chain mail and brought it to the padishah. He laid out the chain mail on the ground, swung his saber and cut it in half.
Then the padishah said to the blacksmith:
“If you make the same chain mail a second time, I will cut off your head.”
The blacksmith got scared, came home and told his daughter everything.
She reassured him:
– Make chain mail and don’t worry about anything. When the chain mail was ready, the girl put it on herself, took the saber and went to the padishah.
Appearing before him, she said, handing him a saber:
“Here’s your saber, and here’s my chain mail.” Try its strength!
The padishah liked the girl’s bold words, and he let her go in peace.
