Dedicated to the song “Boys Don’t Cry” performed by Valeria. There was a war between two states. And now, at the front line of the war, there was an outpost of one army (an outpost is an advanced post of troops located at the very front position, by analogy with a forward in football). One soldier was wounded at the outpost. But the water at the outpost was already running out. And so the commander began to think about what to do and how to save his soldier, for whom he was responsible (“We are responsible for those we have tamed” by A. de Saint Exupery). The radio didn't work. Kill a soldier so that he doesn’t betray the entire outpost and all the other soldiers with his groan? Or maybe stun him? Or maybe put him to sleep? There was little time to think. And then the commander made a decision that seemed to him the only correct one - he himself went to the enemy commander to get water for his wounded soldier, deciding that the life of his soldier was more important than his own and that if he was destined to die, then it was better to do it with honor and dignity in the name of love for his neighbor.
