Once upon a time there was a sparrow and a sparrow, and there lived a king. The sparrow and the hen built a nest in the royal palace. The king lived in his chambers, and the sparrow and sparrow lived in their nest.

Once the king dressed up in a new dress, he decided to go visit. As soon as I reached the door, the sparrow dropped a drop. A white drop fell directly on the king and stained his new dress. He became angry. He called the servant and said:

- Now catch the sparrow and the sparrow and put them in a cage.

The servant caught the sparrow, and the sparrow flew up, and that was it.

A sparrow flew to the carpenter and asked:

- Carpenter, carpenter! Make me a cart with eight wheels. The king put my sparrow in a cage. I will go to fight with him.

The carpenter made a small cart with eight wheels. Sparrow harnessed a mouse to it and went to fight with the king. He drives and drives and sees a needle lying on the road.

- Brother Sparrow! Brother Sparrow! Where are you going? - asks the needle.

The sparrow answers:

I am a sparrow, I am a sparrow

You see, the mouse is harnessed to the cart:

I'm going to fight with the king -

He caught my sparrow.

“And I’m with you, brother sparrow.” - Let's go.

A sharp-nosed needle climbed onto the cart. The sparrow shakes the reins and urges the mouse. The mouse runs, tries its best. The cart is rolling fast.

They drive and drive, and a scorpion meets them.

- Brother Sparrow! Brother Sparrow! “Where are you going?” he asks.

And the sparrow told him:

I am a sparrow, I am a sparrow

You see, the mouse is harnessed to the cart:

I'm going to fight with the king -

He caught my sparrow.

“And I’m with you, brother sparrow.”

- Let's go.

The scorpion raised its tail with a poisonous sting and climbed into the sparrow's cart. A sparrow chases a mouse. The mouse runs very fast.

They drive, they drive, they look - there is a rope and a stick.

- Brother Sparrow! Brother Sparrow! Where are you going? - ask the rope and stick.

And the sparrow answered them:

I am a sparrow, I am a sparrow

You see, the mouse is harnessed to the cart:

I'm going to fight with the king -

He caught my sparrow.

- And you and I, brother sparrow.

- Let's go.

So a whole army gathered at the sparrow along the road. They drove and drove and arrived at the royal palace when it became completely dark. The sparrow stopped the cart behind the palace. The king was not at home. Sparrow and his friends quietly crept into the king's room. The needle hid in his bed. Scorpio climbed onto the table where the candle stood. The rope and stick were hidden by the door. The sparrow itself climbed under the cornice. And the mouse remained to guard the cart.

The king returned soon. I washed my face and sat down to dinner. He has no idea what army has entered his palace.

The king went to bed. And the needle has been waiting for him for a long time. He lay down in bed - she began to prick his back. The king shouted and jumped up. He wants to light a candle to see what it is that is pricking in the bed.

And there was a scorpion sitting by the candle. As soon as the king extended his hand, the scorpion stung him.

The king cried out in fear:

- Fathers! I'm dying! A scorpion bit me! The king rushed out of the room. And a rope and a stick were waiting for him at the door. The rope entangled the king, and the stick began to beat him. The king shouts at the top of his lungs:

- Help! Help! Someone please help!

The sparrow looked from above, looked at everything that was happening, and when the king asked for help, he flew down to him, stopped the stick and said:

- King! I'm a sparrow. My army is with me. Tell me, will you let my sparrow go? Or haven't you had enough yet?

The king prayed and began to ask the sparrow for forgiveness. The rope freed the king, and he released the sparrow.
