Old woman and her rooster

Old woman and her rooster
Enlight

One elderly woman noticed, with scientific precision, that her rooster always crows just before sunrise. Therefore, she came to the conclusion that the sun rises only thanks to the crow of her rooster.

When the rooster died, she hastened to replace it with another, because she was very afraid that the next morning the sun might simply not rise without the rooster.

One day the old woman quarreled with her neighbors; she left the village with her rooster and settled elsewhere.

When the next morning her rooster crowed and a little later the sun began to slowly rise on the horizon, she was once again convinced that the sun was rising only for her, and the village was still plunged into darkness. Nothing, they asked for it themselves!

However, the old woman was very interested in why the peasants did not come to her with prayers for her to return to the village along with her rooster. She attributed this to their stubbornness and stupidity.
