A tit bird lived in one place. She was hungry and cold in the chilly northern winter. She was flying one day and noticed a small chum. A tit bird sat on the roof of the plague and saw through the smoke hole how an old man was forging an ax inside. The bird asks the old man:

Make me iron wings, an iron beak and iron paws in your forge. I will fly to heaven to the owner of the clouds. He has seven daughters. Seven daughters have seven bags. Each bag contains warm clouds that give people warmth. I will steal one of those bags while the cloud maidens are sleeping.
The old man did everything the titmouse asked. And she flew to the southern side of the sky. She flew and flew and saw: a white cloud was spread out in the sky ahead, and on it were seven girls sitting in a row. At the feet of each girl is a bag of warm clouds.
The tit bird said:
- Master of the clouds, help me take one bag of warm clouds from the girls for the old man. Let the girls fall asleep soundly!
As soon as the tit bird finished saying this, the eldest of the girls said:
- Oh, sisters, how I wanted to sleep! And everyone else said after her:
- We want to sleep too!
And the girls fell asleep. The titmouse bird immediately went to the younger girl’s bag and untied it. A lot of clouds suddenly fell out of the bag, and the bird flew to the ground, to the old blacksmith.
The tit bird flew in and saw: an old blacksmith walking around the chum in only a shirt, and the bright sun was shining from behind the clouds.
- Well, grandfather, are you feeling warm? - asked the titmouse bird.
- Hot! Well done, bird! - answered the old man.
So they say that warm weather was brought to people from the sky by a tit bird.
