Octopus and rat

Octopus and rat
Enlight

One day the birds got ready to go on a trip and invited with them a rat and a hermit crab, who at that time lived on land. They got into the boat, raised the sail and sailed away from the shore.

Everything was going well, but suddenly the kingfisher accidentally pierced the bottom of the boat with its long beak. The boat began to sink, and all the birds scattered.

The hermit crab barely made it to the nearest reef and remained to live in the sea.

And the rat had to swim to the shore alone.

The octopus saw her, was surprised and asked:

-Where are you from, rat?

“We were sailing,” the rat answers, “but the kingfisher made a hole in the boat with its beak, and it sank.”

“Sit on me,” the octopus suggested, “I’ll take you to the shore.”

A rat climbed onto the octopus's head; and he swam.

Soon they sailed to the island, and the rat jumped to the ground.

- Hey, octopus! - she shouted goodbye. - Look what's on your head.

The octopus felt his head and realized that the rat had shitted on him. The octopus got angry and chased the rat, but it hid in a hole.

You, of course, know that every octopus has tubercles on its head. They have remained ever since. Now the octopus is the worst enemy of every rat.

That’s why, if you decide to catch an octopus, you need to make a bait that looks like a rat; the octopus immediately rushes to such bait.
