He thought, but could not answer.
The Sufi told him:
- I mean myself, of course! “And he added softly: “Now go back to your village and forget about the fact that you wanted to become my student.”
The man returned home and was asked what he had learned.

“Myself,” the villagers said in unison.
- No-no! - he answered triumphantly, “my father’s son” is a Sufi from a neighboring city. He told me so himself!
