One day a hunter named Muzair boasted to his neighbor:
- Yesterday in the forest under one bush I saw a hundred hares!
“It can’t be!” the neighbor was surprised. “A hundred?”
- Well, it was definitely not a hundred, but fifty.
- Shame on you, Muzair! Where has it been heard - there are fifty birds with one stone under one bush.
- Okay, not fifty, it was ten. This is no mistake!
- What should ten hares do under one bush? There isn't enough room for them in the forest, or what?
“Ten...” Muzair began, but then he thought and said: “Maybe not ten.” Who can count them, eared ones. But five for sure!
“It wasn’t even five!” the neighbor objected with a grin.
“How could it not be!” Muzair was indignant. “I saw one of them myself!”
- You made it all up! And one thing, I think, was missing...
“You don’t believe me, then?” Muzair was upset. “But, honestly, I heard with my own ears something rustling under the bush.”
