Let's go together. The Mouse barely has time to chase the Fawn. Many times the Little Deer lost sight of the Little Mouse. And when they walked between the bushes, he almost stepped on the Mouse with his hooves. As they walked and walked, the Mouse said: “Let’s play hide and seek!”
“Come on,” agreed the Little Deer, “you’re little, close your eyes, and I’ll hide.”
The mouse sat on its hind legs and closed its eyes with its front legs. The fawn ran and hid behind a tree lying on the ground. The Little Mouse looked for a long time for the Fawn, but could not find it. Finally I became completely exhausted. He sat down and began to think about how to find the Little Deer. I thought for a long time. And I thought: Yeah, I’ll take this giant with cunning!
The mouse suddenly shouted:
- Friend Deer! You hid yourself well, and you can see the young horns!
The little deer thought: Eh, I did something bad! The Mouse speaks the truth! He jumped up to hide his horns better, and then the Mouse saw him.
- Now I’ll hide! - said the Mouse. For a long time the Little Deer looked for the Mouse, but could not find him. He became completely exhausted and lay down to rest. The mouse ran out from behind a hummock and laughed: “Oh, my friend Deer!” He’s big, but slow-witted! I'm small, but smarter than you! - And disappeared into the moss. The Little Deer snorted with insult and ran in the other direction.
Since then you will never see the Little Deer and the Little Mouse playing together.
