Whether it happened or not, there was a mosquito in the world. One day he sat down on a thorn tree and pricked himself with a thorn. Sits and cries. A goat passes by. The mosquito says to her:
- Goat, you should eat the thorn that dug into me.
- What a fool! Why do I need your thorn when I can eat juicy green grass?
“Okay, I’ll complain about you to the wolf,” the mosquito threatened and flew to the wolf.
“Wolf, oh wolf, you should devour this worthless goat.”
- Go away, stupid, what do I need your goat when there are sheep with fat tails?
“Well, wait a minute, robber, I’ll complain to the hunter.” He flew to the hunter and began to beg:
- Hunter, dear, shoot the evil wolf.
“No, mosquito, I won’t leave the partridges and quails to shoot the wolf.”
- And I’ll persuade the mouse to gnaw the wick of your gun! - the mosquito shouted and flew towards the mouse.
“Dear mouse,” he begged, “gnaw the wick on the hunter’s gun.”
- Darling mosquito, is it worth throwing away sultanas and almonds for the sake of a wick?
- So I’ll tell the cat to catch you! the mosquito shouted and flew towards the cat.
“Hey, cat, catch the mouse,” he asks.
“He wanted me to throw fat tails and food from people’s tables and chase some pathetic mouse!” Get out of my sight!
- Just wait, I’ll complain to the dog! - the mosquito shouted and flew away.
“Dear dog,” he begged, “drive away this vile cat.”
“Hey, stupid mosquito, move on,” the dog answers. - Why would I chase a cat, leaving the bones behind?
“Oh, well, then I’ll complain to the boys so they can beat you.”
He flew up to the children who were playing on the street.
- Boys, boys, beat this dog.
- So, should we stop playing little siskin and chase your dog?
- Well, then I’ll complain to the wind so that it will carry away your sticks and siskins.
With tears in his eyes, a mosquito flew to the wind.
- O good wind, blow and scatter the sticks and siskins of these worthless boys!
The wind took pity on the mosquito, blew with all its might and lifted sticks and siskins into the air. The boys ran after the dog, the dog began to chase the cat, and it grabbed and ate the mouse; Out of fear, this mouse's friend chewed the wick on the hunter's gun. The hunter shot at the wolf, he rushed after the goat, and the goat immediately pulled the thorn out of the mosquito's body. This is how the mosquito got rid of the thorn.
