One day a monk was walking through the forest. Nearby, he noticed a hunter aiming at a deer. The monk ran up to him and began to beg him not to kill the deer.
- Why? - the hunter was surprised.
“If you kill him, then in your next life you may be reborn as a deer.” This is the law of karma.
The hunter thought about it and did not kill the deer, lowering his gun. He looked at the monk: he was well and neatly dressed, had excellent manners and kind features, he felt that the aroma of bliss and serenity emanated from the monk.
At the same moment, the hunter pointed his gun at the monk. The monk asked him:
- My God, what are you doing?!
“You said it yourself, this is the law of karma: if I kill you, then in my next life I will be a monk.” I liked you.
