For a long time, two mice were friends, one lived in a tower, and the other in the mountains. But they never visited each other.
The mouse that lived in the mountains had flour, meat, oatmeal, and fat tail, while the other one could barely make ends meet.
And so the woman who lived in the mountains invited the mouse from the tower to visit her. She received me well, fed her, gave her gifts and took her home.
Soon the mouse from the tower invited the mouse from the mountains to visit. Seeing her friend in her yard, the housewife greeted her and began asking about her life. At this time, a cat was passing through the yard. The guest mouse asks:
-Who is this? Why do she have such sparkling eyes?
“This is my mother-in-law, be sure to hug her,” answered the mistress mouse.
The guest mouse rushed into the arms of the cat, and she swallowed it.
The mouse ran to the mountains, found its friend’s hole and began to live there happily.
One day the cat got hungry and went to the mountains to mouse. She smelled the smell of fat tail and went in that direction. The cat crept up to the hole, looked into it, and there was a fat, fat mouse lying there. The cat jumped, grabbed the mouse and swallowed it.
No wonder the proverb says: “Don’t dig a hole for someone else, you will fall into it yourself.”
