One gentleman envied the blacksmith: “You live and live, someday there will be a harvest and you’ll get money, but the blacksmith knocked with a hammer - and with the money. Let me start a forge!”

The master started a forge and ordered the footman to blow the bellows. Standing there, waiting for customers. A guy is driving by and wants to order tires for all four wheels.

- Hey, stop! Come here! - the master shouted. The man arrived.

- What do you want?

- Yes, master, we need tires for the whole camp.

- Okay, now, wait!

- How much will it cost?

“I should take one and a half hundred rubles, but in order to attract people, I’ll take only a hundred.”

- OK.

The master began to fan the fire, and the footman began to blow into the bellows. The master took the iron, let’s forge it, but he doesn’t know how to forge - he forged and forged and burned the iron.

“Well,” he says, “little man, you won’t get the whole machine, let alone one tire.”

“One is the same,” the man agreed. The master forged and forged and said:

- It won’t work, little man, even just one thorn, but will it work, maybe there won’t be a ploughshare.

“Okay, at least a coulter,” the man answers. The master knocked with a hammer, ruined a lot of iron and said:

- Well, little man, not even a coulter will come out, but will it come out, won’t there be a columbine?

- Well, at least a kochedyk!

Only the master didn’t have enough iron for him either: he burned everything.

“Well, little man,” says the master, “even a kochedyk won’t work!”

The master got one “zilch”: he stuck the remaining piece of hot iron into the water, and it hissed - “zilch!”
