“Listen to the first advice,” she said. “Don’t believe what is implausible.” “Don’t regret what you did,” the bird continued, “and know that I have a piece of gold the size of a chicken egg stuck in my crop.” You could get rich if you gutted me.
- Oh, what a fool I am! - the man exclaimed sadly, and the bird was about to fly away.
- But where is your third advice? - the man shouted.
“You didn’t listen to the first two either.” How could a little bird have a piece of gold the size of a chicken egg in its crop? “Don’t believe the implausible and don’t regret what you’ve done - that’s my third advice to you,” the bird answered and flew away.
