Lutonyushka

Once upon a time there lived an old man with an old woman; They had a son, Lutonya. One day the old man and Lutonya were doing something in the yard, and the old woman was in the hut. She began to remove a log from the ridges, dropped it on the bend, and then screamed and screamed in a great voice. So the old man heard a scream, ran hastily into the hut and asked the old woman: what is she screaming about? The old woman began to tell him through tears:

- Yes, if we married our Lutonyushka, and if he had a son, and if he were sitting here on a bench, I would have bruised him with a log!

Well, the old man began to shout about it with her, saying:

- And that’s it, old woman! You would have hurt him!.. They both scream at the top of their lungs. Lutonya runs from the yard and asks:

-What are you shouting about? What they said:

“If we married you, and you had a son, and if he had been sitting here just now, the old woman would have killed him with a log: it fell right here, and it’s so sharp!”

“Well,” said Lutonya, “you can use it!” Then he grabbed his hat and said:

- Goodbye! If I find someone more stupid than you, I will come to you again, but if I don’t find you, don’t wait for me!

And he left. He walked and walked and saw: men dragging a cow to the hut.

- Why are you dragging the cow? - Lutonya asked.

They told him:

- Look how much grass has grown there!

- Oh, full of fools! - said Lutonya. He climbed into the hut, picked the grass and threw it to the cow.

The men were terribly surprised by this and began to ask Lutonya to stay with them and teach them.

“No,” said Lutonya, “I still have many such fools in this world!”

And he moved on. In one village, he saw a crowd of men near a hut: they had tied a collar at the gate and were driving a horse into this collar with sticks, beating it half to death.

- What are you doing? - Lutonya asked.

- Yes, father, we want to harness the horse.

- Oh, you complete fools! Let me in, I'll do it for you.

I took it and put the collar on the horse. And these men were amazed at him, began to stop him and earnestly ask him to stay with them for at least a week. No, Lutonya moved on.

He walked and walked, got tired and entered an inn. Then he saw: the old housewife had cooked salamata, put it on the table for her children, and every now and then she went to the cellar with a spoon for sour cream.

- Why are you, old lady, trampling your sandals in vain! - said Lutonya.

- Why? - the old woman objected in a hoarse voice. “You see, father, salamata is on the table, and sour cream is in the cellar.”

- Yes, old lady, you should take and bring sour cream here; Things would go smoothly for you!

- And that, darling!

She brought sour cream to the hut and brought Lutonya with her. Lutonya ate his fill, climbed onto the bed and fell asleep. When he wakes up, then my fairy tale will begin, but for now that’s all.
