Khalil Jerban wrote a parable. It is not in the Gospel. Such a case most likely never happened, but it seems absolutely plausible. If this case did not happen, then it should have happened.
One day Jesus was walking from one city to another. He walked through a large garden and stopped to rest under a tree. The garden belonged to Mary Magdalene.
She was a famous prostitute, very rich. Many rich people visited her. It was very difficult to acquire her love - there were too many competitors. And she was one of the most beautiful women who ever lived on Earth.
Magdalene looked out of the window and saw Jesus. She suddenly forgot who she was. She left the house as if under hypnosis and ran to him. But for her he was just a tramp, a slacker. She woke him up and said:
- Why are you resting here? Let's go to my house.
She was attracted to him. She fell in love.
Jesus said:
“The next time I pass along this road, I will go to your house, but now I have already rested, and I still have a long way to go.” Thank you.
She felt insulted. She said:
- Don't you know who I am? Haven't you ever heard the name Mary Magdalene?
Jesus answered:
- I know you, I heard your name. But I'll come see you next time.
Mary Magdalene must have gone mad. She said:
- I offer you my home, I offer you my heart and love. Can't you be a little more polite, a little more loving and compassionate?
And Jesus said:
- Only I can love you, no one else.
This ends the story of Khalil Jerban.
Jesus said: “Only I can love you, no one else.” And this is true, because in order to love, a person must be love.
