But he avoided him. Finally, Buddha managed to find him. It was at night when Manjushri was sleeping. Buddha said:
“You won’t be able to hide this fact from me!” I know what happened. So why are you avoiding me? You should have come for confirmation.
Manjushri replied:
“I know that It happened, but I don’t want any confirmation from you, because confirmation means that you will say: “Manjushri, go away! Bring my Word to the people." And I don't want to go anywhere. I want to stay with you. So please don't think of me as enlightened.
