Lion's Revenge

Lion's Revenge

The sick Leo lay in his cave for several days. His swollen legs were burning, and the boils caused him to develop a high fever. He growled thunderously, remembering how the traitor Jackal mocked him, the king of beasts.

As soon as Leo felt better and was able to walk, he first of all went in search of the Jackal in order to take revenge on him. The lion walked around the entire area, but did not meet the Jackal anywhere.

A lot of time passed before the Lion and the Jackal one day accidentally collided nose to nose in a gorge with steep rocky slopes. The Jackal almost lost consciousness from fear: here it is, his death, here he is, the great judge!

The lion prepared to jump and, like a falcon at a mouse, rushed forward. However, the Jackal's agility doubled due to fear. He dodged the terrible Lion's claws, he himself survived, only he lost his tail. In the blink of an eye, the Jackal flew to the top of a steep cliff and only there did he feel safe. However, the fear still did not leave him, and he fluttered like a leaf in the wind.

The Lion tore the Jackal's tail to shreds and shouted:

- Traitor! I'll still get you! Mark my words and beware! Even though you managed to escape from me this time, I left a mark on you and will unmistakably distinguish you from the many others like you. Sooner or later I will catch you, break your back, eat your brain, drink your blood!

And everyone went their own way.
