Once upon a time there lived a fool who was very poor - there was no one poorer than him. He had neither clothes nor food, which is why he suffered all the time. One day a fool decided: “I’ll go to Allah, maybe he will do something for me.” And he set off.
He walked for a long time and came to some clearing at the edge of the forest. In this clearing, he saw a huge bear beating its head on the ground.
“Why are you hitting your head on the ground?” he asked the bear.
“What’s your business?” answered the bear. “Tell me better, where are you going?”
“I’m a poor man, I don’t have anything, so I’m going to Allah to ask him to do something for me.”
- Then ask Allah to do something for me - my head constantly hurts, I can’t get rid of the disease. When I hit my head on the ground, it stops hurting a little, and then it hurts even more.
“Okay, I’ll ask,” the fool promised and moved on.
He walked and entered a courtyard where there were a lot of trees. The hosts greeted him cordially. When he said what business he was going for, the owner said to him:
“These trees bloom every year, and there are so many flowers that the trees can barely stand them.” But as soon as the fruits begin to ripen, they all dry out and fall. I don't know what to do, so ask Allah what I should do.
“Okay, I’ll definitely ask,” the fool promised. He went on his way further and reached some kingdom. He was captured and taken to the king.
“Where are you going and why?” the king asked him.
- So and so, I lived very poorly and decided to go to Allah and ask him to help me.
“Then I have a request for you,” said the king. “Ask Allah how long will I reign?”
“Okay, I’ll ask,” said the fool and moved on.
He came to a big river. I began to look for a ford, but could not find it anywhere. Walking along the shore like this, he saw a huge man on the other side.
“Where are you going and what are you looking for?” the huge man asked the poor fool.
“So and so, I lived very poorly and decided to ask Allah for help - I’m going to him,” said the poor man.
“To become rich, you need to have intelligence,” said the huge man.
“Thank you, good man,” said the fool and continued: “When I was walking here, I met a bear, and he asked me to find out how to get rid of his headache.” The gardener I stopped with has a flowering garden, but the fruits never ripen. In one kingdom I was asked to find out how long that king would reign.
“I’ll give you the answers to all your questions: a bear, in order to get better, must eat a fool; The owner’s fruits do not ripen because there is gold under the garden - it does not allow the trees to drink enough water. To prevent the trees from drying out, it is necessary to dig out all the gold from the ground. The king you met is a woman. Until people find out that the king is a woman, she will have her kingdom. When they find out, they will deprive her of her kingdom,” said the huge man.
The fool listened to all the answers and went back. Having reached the woman king, he told her the swag that he had brought her. Then she proposed that he become her husband and take control of the kingdom into his own hands. But the fool refused - he said that he still had to take the swag to the gardener and the bear, and left.
He reached the gardener and announced to him the swag, which he learned from Allah.
“Then let’s dig up gold together, and we’ll have enough of it for the rest of our lives,” the owner of the garden suggested to him.
But the fool refused - he said that he still had to take the swag to the bear to save him from a headache.
He came to the forest where the bear was. The bear came out to meet him and asked:
- What swag did you bring me?
The fool replied that the bear would get rid of his headache as soon as he ate the fool.
Then the bear asked:
- Tell me, who else did you meet, what did you see, what did you learn along the way?
The fool told everything that happened to him on the road.
When the bear heard all this, he said:
- I won’t find anyone stupider than you!
And he ate the fool. Since then he never had a headache.
