Then the peasants went to the sage, and he agreed to help them. The sage's special talisman made the beast come to his house.
- Kill him! - the people shouted when the fox was in the hands of the old dervish.
The sage released the fox, putting a collar with some kind of stone on him.
- What have you done! Now how do we protect our chickens from the thief? - people were indignant.
“All living beings in this world, and not just people, try to hide from the light of truth,” answered the dervish. — The stone on the collar emits this light. When they see him, your chickens will hide so that the fox himself will not find them.
And so it happened. The villagers began to live peacefully. The fox returned to the sage, because he was unable to catch any prey. And the dervish shared food and shelter with him.
