Five hundred years ago, the Lee dynasty ascended the Korean throne and now reigns.
Here's how it happened.
In Hanyun Province, in the Koign district, there lived two clans: Li and Pak. Lee is in the village of Sorboi, Pak is in the village of Namboi.
Both Pak and Lee were heroes.
A man born from a woman and a sacred mountain is called a hero:
Men-san-sorgi.
The ray (sorgi) of the sacred mountain penetrates the woman, and twelve months later a hero is born, who flies away immediately after birth, because he is born with wings. No traces of this birth remain. The parents of the hero must keep the birth of the hero in strict confidence, otherwise he will not come to them from the sacred mountain, where he lives and practices the art of battle, in a moment of danger or during war.
The little hero flies in invisible and feeds on his mother’s breast. But the mother does not know exactly when he drinks her milk.
One stupid mother from the city of Tan-chen, when she gave birth to a hero, before he flew away, cut off his wings. The son grew up, an unprecedented strongman emerged from him, he lifted an ox with its burden, but he was also stupid, like his ox, while the sky was preparing for him the glorious fate of a hero.
Lee and Pak were such heroes when the people chose a new dynasty for themselves.
Then his late father appeared to the hero Li in a dream and said:
“On the third night, under the moon, two dragons, blue and yellow, will fight on Lake Tsok-chi-nup. You shoot the arrow at the blue one because he is Puck's father and the yellow one is me.
That's what Lee did. Then the wounded blue dragon rushed into Tumangan, and the yellow one rushed into the river, which has since flowed from Lake Tsok-chi-nup to Tumangan and is called Tsok-chi.
Thus, the hero Li defeated Pak and became the first emperor of the Li dynasty.
In the villages of Sorboi and Namboi, monuments to two heroes are still preserved. They stand under Chinese tiled pavilions, and in these pavilions there are marble mausoleums, on which their glorious deeds are written by the hands of the heroes themselves, not by carving marble, but directly with their fingers.
