This incredible story happened to a frog who one day fell victim to his own stupidity. Oh, it was an ordinary frog, green and extremely inconspicuous... But that was precisely what spoiled her mood: after all, she had to constantly stay on her guard so as not to be crushed by other animals who placed their paws wherever they wanted!.. The frog decided to act: everyone should pay attention to her and... make sure of her power!
Patiently, the little frog began to drink water from lakes, swamps, and ponds. Then she started working on streams, rivers, and underground springs. Little by little, it dried up the entire planet - all fresh water disappeared. The frog did not miss a single well, not a single puddle, not even a drop of dew. Of course, the more she drank, the bigger she became. She swelled so much that she surpassed the size of the largest animals and eventually became like a mountain. Her green skin was about to burst, and now she sat motionless, with a frozen gaze and bulging eyes.
She felt a great sense of pride. At her feet the animals, very tiny compared to her, moved in a circle and looked at the giant with concern. They were dying of thirst, but no one dared to attack the frog or even reproach it - this frog made such an impressive impression! At the same time, they clearly saw that the frog could hardly hold all this water in itself!
One monkey had an original idea. Gathering her last strength, she began to desperately make faces and joke. Seeing her grimaces and antics, the animals, forgetting for a while about their grief, simply roared with laughter. The terrible frog, however, remained indifferent to everything and did not open his mouth. It's the rabbit's turn. His funny tricks caused general delight, but the frog was still unperturbed.
When all the animals have already demonstrated their clown talents - alas, to no avail! - another willing person was found - an eel. True, he was not very pleasant in appearance: black, cold and slippery. But this was truly the last chance. As soon as the eel rose on the tip of its writhing body and began to dance, a slight trembling ran through the frog's skin.
The eel continued to make faces, he curled up into a ball and untwisted again so hilariously that the frog had difficulty holding back the hiccups. When the eel finally formed itself like a knot in rope, the frog literally exploded with laughter. And immediately fresh water gushed out of it... The planet was saved!
