Once on the road Koblukh and the Devil met.

Damn:

- What's new in the world, Koblukh-krasnobay?

Koblukh:

“But they say that eight dogs couldn’t eat a mosquito thigh.”

Damn:

“They were probably tiny dogs.”

Koblukh:

- Nothing to say - tiny! They ate the eagles that landed on the tower of the prince's palace.

Damn:

- Well, apparently, the eagles were tiny...

Koblukh:

- What are you, how tiny? When they sat on the top of the palace, their wings touched the ground.

Damn:

- You're lying! Or maybe the palace was low.

Koblukh:

- Not at all! Can you really say that a house is low if its storeroom can fit eight camels with luggage?

Damn:

- Then it turns out that the camels were dwarf.

Koblukh:

- Nothing like that! The camels were so tall that they tore leaves from the tops of the plane trees.

Damn:

- So the plane trees were short.

Koblukh:

- How short? When my brother looked at their tops, his hat fell off his head.

Damn:

- Well, your brother was as big as a fingernail.

Koblukh:

- What are you talking about, he was so tall that he put his hand into the well and pulled out stones from the bottom.

Damn:

- So what if the well was very shallow?

Koblukh:

- It was very deep. If a stone was thrown at it early in the morning, it would only reach the bottom in the evening.

Damn:

- Or maybe the day was short?

Koblukh:

- Not at all! The cow, having walked with the bull in the morning, returned home in the evening with the calf.

Damn:

- Well, Koblukh, I admit, I can’t outsmart you, you’ve outdone me.
