The birds decided to choose a king for themselves. The struggle for the throne was in full swing when the peacock stood up and said:
“My incomparable beauty serves as convincing proof that only I am worthy to be your king.”
Everyone agreed with him, but a crow came up to the peacock and said:
- Let's assume that you will be our king. But how will you protect your subjects if an eagle attacks us?
