She dug a hole, hid the puppies there, and she put on a skirt and necklace and sat down near the hole. Kibungo came, but did not recognize the dog in the skirt, got scared and walked away. He met a turtle and asked her:
Where is the dog, answer me
Give me the answer now
If you deceive me,
Then blame yourself!
The turtle replied:
- I don’t know where she is, kibungo.
A butterfly flew by here. Kibungo asked her the same question and received the same answer. A rabbit ran past and a kibungo asked him. Rabbit take it and say:
- How come you didn’t recognize the dog in a skirt and with a necklace around his neck? Kibungo ran after the dog, and the dog ran after the rabbit. They chased each other and ran into the city. Here the people killed the kibungo, and the dog caught the rabbit.
