—Why do you forbid your followers to make the pilgrimage? How can a person prohibit what was indicated from Above?

-Can you stop this pumpkin from being a pumpkin? No one can interfere with the fulfillment of divine instructions; so even if someone seems to be doing this, in reality it is impossible.
However, it is the duty of the Leader to ensure that the pilgrimage is not undertaken by persons of inappropriate internal condition, just as the occupants of the shrine will prevent a person of inappropriate appearance from performing the ritual of worship. Any pilgrimage has external and internal sides. An ordinary person will help a pilgrim when he needs money or food, and will lift him up if he falls down from weakness on the road. The Man of the Path, instantly identifying similar needs in the sphere of inner life, is forced to provide help in his own way.
