The old master answered with a smile:
“Many years ago I came to my master. I was a youth, seventeen years old, but already deeply suffering. The master was seventy years old, and he smiled and was happy just like that, without any reason. I asked him: “How do you do this, master?” And he answered: “Every person within himself is free to choose. This is my choice. Every morning, when I open my eyes, I ask myself what is better to choose today - bliss or suffering? And for some reason I always choose bliss. But this, in my opinion, is so natural.”
