- Why are you laughing? All your life you have laughed, and we still did not dare to ask how you do it? And now, in the last minutes, you laugh! What's so funny?
The Old Master replied:
“Many years ago I came to my Master as a young man, seventeen years old, but already deeply suffering. The master was seventy, and he smiled and laughed just like that, for no apparent reason. I asked him: “How do you do this?” And he answered: “Inside I am free in my choice. It's just my choice. Every morning when I open my eyes, I ask myself what to choose today - bliss or suffering? And so it happens that I choose bliss, because it is so natural.”
