The father did not answer, but that same night he took his son with him to the robbery. Once inside the house, he opened the toilet and asked his son to rummage around inside the room. Before the guy could get inside, his father slammed the door and bolted it from the outside. Then he made such a noise that he woke up the whole house. He himself disappeared silently.
The guy locked in the toilet was very scared, angry and began to feverishly think about how he could get out of the house. And then it dawned on him. He started making noise so loud that they thought there was a cat inside. The servant lit a candle and did not have time to properly open the door to let the cat out when the young man slipped out of the room and rushed into the yard. They chased him. Seeing a well not far from the road, he threw a large stone into it, and hid in the darkness. While the pursuers tried in vain to find the burglar at the bottom of the well, he managed to disappear unnoticed.
Returning home, the boy completely forgot about his offense - he was so eager to tell about what had happened. But his father interrupted him:
- Why are you telling me all this? You are here and that is enough. Consider yourself mastered of our craft.
