A long time ago, there lived a widow with three sons in a village. When her hour of death came, she called her sons and divided equally all her wealth between them. And then, when the inheritance was over, she beckoned her youngest son to her and whispered something in his ear.
The older brothers were alarmed - was their mother planning to deprive them - and pestered the younger one with questions:
– What were you whispering about with your mother?
– If I confess to you, will you agree to give me half of the property due to you?
The brothers agreed without hesitation.
“This is what my mother told me: “You love fish.” Remember that perch has a lot of bones, so eat it carefully.”
