Under the influence of the force of mutual attraction, they began to draw closer and, having merged, finally gave birth to the king of the Nats, or, as they say in Kachin, Ingaunuamagan.
There is a belief that even before the birth of Ingaunuamagan, other great kings of the Nats ruled the universe. However, they were not interested in the problems of creation and structure of the world, and, by universal recognition, this merit belongs exclusively to Ingaunuama-gan.
Other creations of Ingaunuamagan include his three brothers - Modalan, Modolangue and Ninyulai. As soon as they were born, all four brothers, including the king of the Nats, began to create the earth, sky, stars, moon and other planets. However, the main one among them was the king of the Nats - Ingaunuamagan. Therefore, it is not surprising that it was he who first created man, and after that all life on earth: the animal world and the plant world. In order to keep this diverse economy in order, Ingaunuamagan also summoned a naga dragon into the world and, girding the earth with it, authorized him to maintain order. Since then, the dragon, called Padanlapu in Kachin, has been constantly at his post. Here he sleeps and is awake, and as soon as he stretches in his sleep or turns on his side, the earth immediately begins to shake, and the Kachins call this an earthquake.
To prevent the sky from falling to the ground, Ingaunuamagan supported it with four pillars and, in addition, placed the thickest pillar in the center. True, he did not quite accurately calculate the height of the central pillar, and it turned out to be much higher than the other four. Ingaunuamagan first sawed off the top of it, and from this top came all the numerous inhabitants of the sky. Then he cut off the lower part of the pillar, and from it came everything living in the water. And when the central pillar connected heaven and earth, it began to grow branches and turned into the magical Sotpunnu tree or padeita in Burmese, which became the source of people’s prosperity.
