How the jay stocked up on food

How the jay stocked up on food
Enlight

Once upon a time, a jay decided to save food for the winter. She dragged the ears of barley under a hummock and began to think and wonder how she could find this hummock in the winter. Then she looked at the sky, and there was just a dark cloud in the sky. So the jay figured out what to do: in winter, you need to look at the sky - where the black cloud is, that means the barley lies there.

In winter, a jay flew in for barley, and a black cloud - what a miracle! - as if it never happened. There's nothing you can do about it! What was lost was gone, only since then the jay has not made any reserves for the winter.
