Once upon a time there lived a fox, and a bear lived nearby in a forest. They often met and lived together like siblings. In those days, the bear had a fluffy and long tail.
One day the fox says to the bear:
- I’ll go catch some fish, I want to try some fresh fish. The bear asked:
- How will you, sister, catch fish with your bare hands?
Lisa says:
- It’s very simple: I put my tail in the hole, the fish will come on its own - it likes to cling to the tail!
So the fox went hunting.
Just here the men were fishing. The fox lay down in the snow as if dead. The men caught some fish, put them on the sledge and drove off. On the road they saw a fox and put it on top of the fish in the sled. The fox gnawed through the bag of fish, threw all the fish onto the road, and then ran away.
The fox sits and eats fish. The bear even became jealous, thinking: “I can catch something like that!”
The bear went to the river, stuck his tail into the hole and sat.
I sat like that for a long time. Tired of it. He thinks: “Let me try, there must be a lot of fish on my tail already!”
He began to pull his tail out of the water, but the tail, it turns out, was frozen. The bear then began to pull its tail with all its might, and tore it off.
Since then, the bear has been left without a tail. The bear now has no tail.
