They began to think about who to give their intelligence and cunning to.

This is how everyone’s place on earth was determined. One day the animals gathered in the forest. Suddenly they hear the sound of an axe. They see a man cutting down a tree.
“On this first Man I will test my strength,” growled the Lion. - Now I’ll eat it!
The Man laughed loudly.
-What are you laughing at, little Man? I've come to eat you!
- I laugh at your stupidity. I came to help you, and you want to eat me. You will always have many enemies - after all, you are strong and powerful. When enemies come after you, you will need a secluded place where you can hide. So I want to help you - make a shelter.
“I didn’t know that,” said Lev. - Okay, do a good deed for me.
And the Man got to work. He built a huge cage.
“Look, king of beasts, what I have built for you,” said the man and ordered the Lion to enter the cage.
Lev entered the cage and asked:
- Well, you can’t see me?
“Take your tail away, then it won’t be visible,” answered the Man.
The Lion removed his tail, and the Man quickly slammed the cage door.
“You see, king of beasts, you can’t do anything with force alone if you don’t have a mind.”
The Lion realized that the Man had defeated him. The Lion roared and began to call the animals for help. And the animals ran away in fear.
“He who was able to defeat the king of beasts, Leo, can easily defeat us,” they said. So Man defeated all the animals.
