How La Dana filled his barn

How La Dana filled his barn
Enlight

La Dana's barn stood among other barns. All the barns were full, but La Dana’s was full. This means that his pot was also empty. One day La Dana said to his neighbors:

- I want to burn down my barn. I don't need it - there's not a grain there anyway.

The neighbors were afraid: La Dana would burn her barn, and their barns would also catch fire.

“If you burn down your barn, we won’t be able to protect ourselves from the fire either,” they said.

“That’s true,” answered La Dana, “but there’s nothing to be done: I have to burn it.” What good is a barn if it's empty? I hate even looking at him!

Then the neighbors decided to fill La Dana’s barn to the top so that he wouldn’t burn it down. They had a lot of rice and filled the barn full of it.

So La Dana did not burn down the barn - after all, it was full. Now the sly man was not afraid to be left without rice for lunch.
