After the victory, Huang Di had a lot of free time, which the ruler of the Celestial Empire decided to spend for the benefit of his subjects. He felt sorry for the people who carried heavy loads on their backs and crossed rivers on unruly, rough rafts. He invented the cart and the boat.
When the wind started, people took refuge under trees or in caves. Huang Di taught them to build houses in which the whole family could live. He showed how to forge copper cauldrons and make pots from clay for cooking. And so that hunters did not have to chase game with a spear and a club, he invented a crossbow.
The deeds of Huang Di were great and varied. But so that their fame would remain thousands of years later, he ordered the four-eyed Cangjie to create writing. The sage came up with hieroglyphs and wrote down a chronicle of the ruler’s victories and inventions on bamboo tablets.
And Huang Di still had a lot of free time, which he spent bored. One day he inflated the ball, kicked it, and it flew to the dignitary. The dignitary did the same thing as a ruler, and returned the ball to him. All the dignitaries had fun and began to play. So it is Huang Di who is the true inventor of football.
Together with two dignitaries - one carrying books on his back and the other a sword - Huang Di set off to travel. In the blink of an eye they rushed across ten thousand li. Huang Di saw a lot of interesting things while traveling. I saw quicksand, in which, as if in water, all living things were drowning. A stone lotus grew among them. It had a hundred leaves, and once every thousand years only one flower bloomed.
In his worries, games and travels, Huang Di even began to forget that the time would come when he would need to complete the great Path - Tao, to heaven.
In order to exalt himself even more, he cast a huge tripod, the vat of which could hold the grain of an entire harvest. On this occasion, Huang Di organized a big feast. At the appointed hour, all the heavenly deities and all the peoples from all over the world gathered. Spirits and people were visible and invisible. There was incredible noise and hubbub.
In the midst of the feast, a magical dragon appeared, covered with golden scales. He leaned halfway out of the clouds and lowered his mustache straight onto the precious tripod. Huang Di realized that this was a messenger from the Heavenly Palace calling him to return to heaven along with the deities, of which there were more than seventy. They rose into the clouds and sat on the back of the dragon. The rulers of small kingdoms and ordinary people wanted to follow them. Pushing and crushing each other, they grabbed the dragon's mustache. But there were so many people that the rope could not stand it, it broke, and everyone, clutching each other in despair, fell to the ground.
So Huang Di set off on his great Path - Tao, to heaven. And on earth he left his great-grandson Zhuangxu, whom he considered wise and fair, to rule in his place.
