It was a long time ago. Needle and the tiger quarreled over something. And the needle decided to kill the tiger. She set off on a journey to find him and deal with him. On the way she came across cow dung.
-Where are you going, sister needle? - asks the manure.
“I’m going to kill the tiger,” the needle answers.
-Won't you take me with you?
- Let's go!
They went together. They walked a little, and they met a pea and asked:
- Sister Igla, where are you in such a hurry?
“I’m going to kill a tiger,” the needle answered without stopping. “If you want, we’ll go together.”
The pea was happy and rolled along with them. They came across a scorpion on the way. He laughed and said:
“Sister Igla, aren’t they giving you away in marriage, are they taking you to the groom?”
The needle smiled in response:
- Don't make fun, brother Scorpio! I'm going to hunt the tiger. If you are not a coward, let's go together.
The scorpion went with them.
The four of them are walking and meet a club on the road. She folded her hands, bowed to them and asked:
- Sister Igloa, where are you taking everyone? The needle answers angrily:
- Kill the tiger!
“Won’t you take me with you, sister?”
- If you have enough courage, let's go. They reached the river and ate. The needle says:
- Look, there is a tiger’s den in front of us. But before we go there, let's agree on who will attack the enemy from which side.
“As you order, sister needle, we will do so,” her friends answered in one voice. The needle thought and said:
“I’ll go and hide in the mat where the tiger sleeps.” As soon as he comes in and lies down, I will inject him. You, Scorpio, hide near the lamp. When I prick a tiger in the dark, he will fidget and want to take the lamp. As soon as he reaches out his paw to the lamp, you sting him. Then the tiger will rush to the fire to cauterize the bite with fire. And let the pea hide in the fire. The tiger will run up to the fire, the pea will jump and land in his eye. Let the dung hide at the entrance. When the tiger gets scared and starts running, the dung will cover its face. And you, dumbass, will also hide at the exit. Throw yourself at the tiger - he won’t see anything - and hit him harder until you break his back. Just proceed with caution! If one person makes a mistake, it will be bad for everyone. Remember: defeating a tiger is no joke.
They agreed to act together, made their way into the tiger’s den, each took his place and hid.
And then the tiger came and went to bed. Then a needle, hidden in the litter, pricked him. The tiger stirred and reached for the lamp. Just as he was about to take it, he received a scorpion sting. The tiger shook his paw and rushed to the fire. And a pea jumped out of the fire and jumped into his eye. The tiger howled in pain and headed for the exit. Then the dung covered his face, and the club began to hit him with all its might. The poor tiger fell over on the spot.
And then? Then, with great joy, the needle gave a merry feast on the occasion of its victory over the tiger.
