A horse and a donkey were walking from the market. It so happened that the donkey was loaded above its head, and the horse ran lightly. They walked and walked and were halfway there. The donkey is tired, groaning, barely breathing.
“Be a friend,” he asked the horse, “help me!” Take part of the load!
But the horse didn’t even blink.
A little later the donkey begged:
- I can’t bear it anymore! Help!
But the horse only uses its ears.
The road went uphill. The donkey feels that he is about to fall, and for the third time he asks the horse:
- Help!
“Okay,” the horse agreed, “I’ll take on something: you carry the load, and I, so be it, will grunt and puff for you.”
The donkey walked another ten steps and fell.
- Get up, get up, honey! - the owner begged, but the donkey could not get up.
There is nothing to do. The owner of the donkey unloaded the load and put all the luggage on the horse. Now the donkey ran lightly, and the horse groaned and panted for two.
