Once upon a time there was a woman who heard about the Heavenly Fruit and desired it with all her soul. She asked a certain dervish whose name was Sabar:
- Tell me, teacher, how can I find a fruit that will help me immediately know the truth?
“The best advice would be to tell you to study with me,” said the dervish. “But if you don’t want this, then in search of the Heavenly Fruit you will have to wander around the world for thirty years, enduring hardships.”
Not satisfied with the answer, she left him and found another teacher, Hakim the sage, then Majud the madman, then Alim the scholar, and many, many others...
So the woman spent thirty years wandering around the world. Finally she came to the garden. There stood the Tree of Heaven, and on its branch hung a bright Heavenly Fruit. Sabar, the first dervish, sat near the Tree.
“Why didn’t you tell me when we first met that you were the Guardian of the Heavenly Fruit?” - she asked him.
“Because then you wouldn’t believe me.” And besides, the Tree bears Fruit only once every thirty years.
