Hare and magpie

Hare and magpie

There lived one hare. Only, who knows why, he loved to brag to others about what he didn’t have: he was strong, and he was brave, and he was a hunter...

One day a hare found a dead roe deer in a field.

As soon as the little hare sat down with the roe deer, the magpie flies.

She saw what kind of prey the hare was up to, sat down on a branch, said hello, and said:

- Hey, neighbor, where did you get such a carcass?

“Killed,” says the hare. The magpie was surprised: the hare killed the roe deer! But the braggart doesn’t let up:

“I’m such a hunter that if I really hunted, I would have killed all the animals long ago!” I can get as many animals as I want! I'll eat the roe deer, then I'll go hunt for the bear.

The magpie bowed to the hare:

- Hey, neighbor, teach me! I'm always hungry.

- Why not teach! - answers the hare. “It’s a very simple thing to hunt like that.” You just need to open your mouth wider and shout. This is a very simple matter. Don't you know how to scream?

- How can I not?! “I know how to scream well,” says the magpie, and she herself thinks: “Why should I go looking for a bear when there is a hare under my nose?”

The magpie flew higher, opened its mouth wider and screamed! She screamed so loudly that the tits that were sitting on the branches nearby fell to the ground.

I only saw a forty hare... He was scared to death and started running. Nobody knows where he ran away to.

The magpie sat there and thought: “How is it possible that I didn’t fall?

hare, did he run away? Apparently I didn’t scream enough. Well, next time, when I see the prey, I’ll scream louder.”

A magpie began to fly through the forest. As soon as he sees the beast, let’s scream, let’s chirp as much as we can.

She herself did not kill a single animal with her scream. And the hunters noticed that the magpie was screaming above the beast. When it starts chirping in the forest, the hunter is there! The magpie is trying, chirping, opening its mouth, spreading its wings, cutting its tail, thinking: “I’m going to kill it now! That’s it.” And the hunter is right there - he will shoot at the animal and take it with him.

It just happens that a magpie sees a hunter in ambush. He rejoices: “Oh, how big! Here I am now!” And he will scare all the animals with his scream: neither himself nor the hunter.
