The hare became ashamed of his cowardice. He was tired of being afraid of every rustle, of running away from hunters, birds of prey and animals. He decided to leave his residence and move to another place where he could live without fear.
The hare gallops across lawns, forest paths, and jumps over bushes. Finally I ran up to the swamp. Frogs croaked on the shore. Seeing the hare, they got scared, jumped into the mud and hid.
The hare sat down and began to think: “Here, in this place, I scared the whole village. So there are creatures who are afraid of me. So I will choose my place of residence here.”
So the hare became brave, delighted that the frogs, frightened of him, hid in the swamp.
