Greedy sons

Once upon a time there lived a hardworking and generous peasant who had lazy and greedy sons. Before his death, he gathered his sons and told them that if they dug in such and such a field, they would find treasures buried there.

As soon as the peasant died, his sons went to the field and began to diligently and carefully dig it up and down, but they never found any treasures. Not finding a single coin in the ground, they decided that the father, apparently, out of his generosity, had given away all the gold, but had forgotten about it, and they stopped searching. But suddenly it dawned on them: since the ground has been dug up, they can plant something on it. The brothers sowed the field with wheat and a few months later reaped a rich harvest. Having sold the wheat, they lived in abundance for a whole year. However, when the harvest was harvested, they again thought about the great wealth that they might have overlooked, and the brothers dug up the field again - but with the same success.

So, over the course of several years, these people got used to work and learned to distinguish between the seasons, something they had no idea about before. It was then that they understood why their father used such a method of education for them, and they became honest and prosperous peasants. They soon discovered that they had enough wealth and stopped thinking about hidden treasures altogether.
