Grandmother Whisperer

Grandmother Whisperer

An old grandmother lived in a village. And the village was small, about ten yards. And at the very edge of it stood the grandmother’s hut. As old as grandma.

Some kind man was found, he put up supports for the grandmother’s hut and covered it with rubble. And she stands, not knowing which side to fall on. The grandmother collects wood chips, lights the stove and warms herself by the fire. It’s clear that it’s cold for an old man even in the summer. If there is something, he will eat it, but if he doesn’t, it will work out that way.

And once a gentleman passed through that village. He saw a familiar grandmother and was surprised.

-Are you still alive? - asks.

- Alive, lady. Death is not coming for me.

- How old are you?

- Yes, I don’t even know how old I am.

- How is your life?

- What kind of life is my life! Rather than live like this, it’s better to rot: I can’t work, and my children and grandchildren have all died long ago. Now I am alone in the world, like a blade of grass in a field. There is no one to give water to. Wouldn't you help the old man with something, sir?

And the gentleman was stingy. There has never been a time when he helped anyone in trouble. He thought and said:

“Why don’t you, old woman, whisper or cast spells?”

- I can’t, punk.

- So I’ll teach you.

- Well, teach me, dove, teach me, so that I don’t live in vain in this world.

The gentleman leaned towards grandma's ear and said:

“When they call you to a sick person, you blow on him a little and whisper: “The sigala lived, the sigala did not.” Whisper a little like that, give him a drink from the bottle, and he’ll wake up. If he doesn’t get better, then take him away.

The grandmother thanked the master and began to whisper how he taught her.

Rumor spread around the outskirts that a whispering grandmother had appeared who was very good at healing both people and livestock. Yes, he not only heals, but also guesses everything.

And people flocked to that grandmother from everywhere. They carry and bring her all sorts of good things.

The grandmother lives now and doesn’t want to die.

One day a gentleman went hunting. The day was cold. The gentleman chased hares for a long time, shouted in the wind at the top of his lungs, and then he got a sore in his throat.

Pan to both this and that doctor - no one can cure that sore. And she's about to strangle him.

The wife says that they need to call the whisperer, but the master doesn’t even want to hear about it: he knows the whisperer!

He endured and endured, finally he couldn’t stand it and agreed to call his grandmother.

They brought the grandmother, but the gentleman was already barely breathing. So the grandmother quickly began to blow. whisper: “Sigala lived, Sigala is gone...”

The gentleman hears the grandmother whispering what he taught her as a joke, and he is overcome by laughter. But the grandmother does not pay attention to anything - she whispers: “Sigala lived, but Sigala is gone...”

The gentleman listened and listened, and then, as soon as he started laughing, the sore in his throat burst...

The gentleman came to his senses and began to thank his grandmother for saving him from death.

- Do you treat everything the way I taught you? - asks the gentleman.

- Yeah, punk, that’s how I fly.

- Well, how do you guess?

- Yes, how will it happen...

- So guess what I'm thinking now. The grandmother looked the gentleman in the eyes and said:

“You’re thinking: should I pay for whispering or not?”

Pan laughed: “I wish you, grandma, it was empty: how did you guess it?”

- Yes, sir, everyone will guess who knows you.
