Goose and crane

Goose and crane
Enlight

Once a fat faded goose was sitting on the shore of a lake.

Suddenly a crane landed nearby. The crane next to the goose looked thin and starved, and the smug goose began to mock him:

- What are you, brother crane, skinny and bony!.. You might think you haven’t eaten anything all summer...

Then they both noticed a hunter who was creeping up on them from the shore of the lake with a gun in his hands. The light crane instantly rose and flew away. And while the fat, thick-assed goose spread its wings and while it was flapping them, a shot had already thundered.

The overfed goose remained on the shore of the lake, and the skinny crane soared in the sky.
