Good advice

Good advice
Enlight

That's what they say.

One day the mice gathered for a council and began to think about how they could escape from the cat.

- How can you escape from him? He is the smartest of all! - said one mouse.

“He steps so quietly that no matter how much you listen, you still won’t hear anything,” said another.

“And he hides so cleverly that no matter how hard you look, you still won’t see anything,” said the third.

Then the smallest mouse came forward and squeaked:

- And I know what needs to be done! You need to tie a bell around the cat's neck. When the cat climbs into our basement again, we will hear the bell ringing and we will all run away.

- Right! Right! - all the mice shouted. - He came up with a good idea! Let's hang a bell around the cat's neck! Then we are all saved!

That's how the matter was decided.

At this time, the oldest and wisest mouse crawled out of its hole.

“Yes, excellent advice,” she said. - Who will tie a bell around the cat’s neck?

Then all the mice began to point at each other:

- Tie it up!

- No, tie it up!

- No, you!

So they argued with each other, argued and are still arguing. That was the end of it.

And the cat still catches and strangles mice.

That's why they say: good advice is only half the battle.
