Live in a chicken coop. The hostess will pour grain into your feeder - peck, without knowing any worries, until you are fattened up to the size of a chicken. True, they can make soup out of you, but that’s no more often than once in a lifetime. You can be patient!..
Then a strong wind blew. The chicken, no matter how hard it held onto the fence, still flew down. And the sparrow spread its wings, flew, flew around and sat down on the fence again.
“Now you see,” he said, “you are big and strong, but in life you only hope for a feeding trough.” So during the flight you wanted to lean on the stone wall. But I rely only on my wings and in life I am my own support.
