Foxy disposition

One day a wolf, a bear, a fox and a hare fell into a hunting hole. They began to consult on how to get out of there, but they could not come up with anything. A lot of time has passed. The animals were very hungry. Then the cunning fox suggested:

“Let’s all scream at once, and whoever has the weakest voice will be eaten.”

The bear roared with all his might, the wolf howled protractedly, and the fox barked loudly. With their voices they drowned out the weak squeak of the hare. Hungry animals attacked him and tore him to pieces.

However, soon hunger began to torment them again. And the animals decided to test again whose voice would be weaker.

This time the wolf lost, who howled so much last time that he became hoarse. A bear and a fox rushed at him, tore him apart and began to divide the meat. While the clumsy bear was choosing the best pieces for himself, the fox quietly hid some of the wolf meat in a dark corner.

The bear ate to his fill and fell asleep sweetly. And the fox, waiting until he was snoring, quietly pulled out the hidden meat and began to feast on it.

Waking up, the bear asked the fox in surprise:

-Where did you get this meat from? Lisa answered him:

- How slow-witted you are! Don't you know how to get meat?

“Teach me,” asked the bear.

- It's very simple. Raise your paw, grab your rib with your claws and pull with all your might. I always do this in difficult situations.

The bear believed the fox and bit his side so hard that he immediately twisted three ribs and immediately gave up the ghost.

The fox was left alone and began to eat the bear's meat. When all the meat was eaten, the fox wondered what to do next. She waited in vain for someone to walk past the pit and rescue her—no one came.

A tree grew above the pit. And then the fox saw a blackbird on it, which was building a nest. The fox watched him for a long time with burning eyes, even her salivation began to flow. Finally, she couldn’t stand it and asked:

- Dear blackbird, what are you doing?

- Don't you see? I'm making my own nest.

-What do you need a nest for?

- In order to hatch chicks.

- I see that you are a jack of all trades. Can you please me? - and the fox complained about her bitter fate, told how she stumbled and accidentally fell into a hole.

“Don’t let me die of hunger, dear blackbird, help me get out of here!” - She began to tearfully pray to the blackbird.

The compassionate blackbird hopped and hopped on a branch and began to think. Then the fox told him:

- Throw pebbles, twigs, leaves - whatever you have under the tree - into the hole.

The blackbird listened and got down to business.

Gradually a slide grew at the bottom of the hole? Carried away by his work, the blackbird forgot about his fox-like disposition and approached the very edge of the pit. Lisa was waiting for this. She climbed up the hill, jumped and broke the thrush's neck. Only feathers remained from the trusting thrush.
