Fox, rooster, ram and bird

A fox, a rooster, a ram and a bird fraternized. Let's go together. Night found them on the road. They made a halt and lit a fire. The fox said to the rooster: “Rooster, let’s go fight.”

They began to fight. The fox tore off the rooster's head and swallowed it. Then she ate the lamb too. Then the bird said to her: “Fox, I’m all just lard, open your mouth, I’m pulling you into your mouth, so you’ll swallow me whole.”

The fox opened its mouth, the bird grabbed a burning brand and slammed it into the fox's mouth. She burned her whole mouth and flew away. The fox was left with nothing.

A bird flies and sees two people beating a dog. She flew up and said: “Give me this dog, ask for whatever you want for it.” They told her: “Just deliver us from this dog, we ourselves will give you what you want.” The bird took the dog. And the dog is hungry.

The bird said: “Do you see the old women eating matsoni?” I’ll fly up, start flying near them, they’ll chase me, and you come and eat their matsoni.

Indeed, the bird distracted the old women - the dog had eaten its fill of matsoni. The dog was satisfied, and the bird led him further.

We saw a fox. The bird hid the dog, flew up to the fox, and shouted: “Hello, little fox!” How is your mouth healing? The fox says: “The mouth has healed, but there is no carrion anywhere, there is nothing to eat.” “Come with me,” the bird called, “I will find you carrion.” She laid the dog down by the road and taught: “Lie there as if dead, and when the fox comes and takes hold of you, jump up and tear all the skin off it.” The fox came, grabbed the dog by the tail, and the dog jumped up and tore all the skin off it.

Pestilence is there, feast is here, Elimination is there, torment is here.
