Fox, bird and raven

Fox, bird and raven

A bird was sitting in a nest in a tree. There were four chicks in the nest. A fox ran past, saw a bird and said:

“Give me one chick, little bird, I’m hungry.”

- How can I give you my chick? Look elsewhere, I won’t give it to you,” the bird answers. Lisa says:

“If you don’t, I’ll cut down your tree.” I have a saber in a fur bag.

The fox raised his tail and began waving it, as if he were cutting down a tree.

The bird got scared and cried:

- Don’t cut down the tree, fox, I’ll give you a chick. And with these words she threw the chick out of the nest. And that’s what the fox needed. She grabbed the chick and took it into the forest.

A bird sits and cries. She feels sorry for her chick. A crow flies past and asks:

-What are you crying about, little bird? Or is your grief great? Birdie says:

- How can I not cry! The fox ate one of my chicks. Raven was surprised and said:

- How could a fox eat your chick? After all, your nest is high in the tree.

“I threw it to her myself: the fox wanted to cut down a tree, she had a sharp saber in a fur bag.” Raven says:

- You are stupid, stupid! This is not a saber, but a tail. Next time she’ll come, let her chop, and she’ll give up herself. After that the raven flew away. The next day the fox came again and said:

- Give me another chick, I’m hungry. Birdie says:

- No, I won’t give you my chick. Lisa says:

“Then I’ll cut down the tree.”

And then the fox began to beat the tree with its tail. She beat and beat, tore out all the hair from her tail, but the tree did not move. The fox sat down near the tree and asked:

- Who taught you not to obey me? Didn't the raven tell you about me? The bird answers:

“I guessed it myself, although it was a little late.” After all, I have my own mind! Lisa says:

- No, you can’t get to that point with your own mind. The raven helped you with this.

The fox ran through the forests and valleys to look for the raven. I ran like this for many days. And then she came to a big river. There were several tents on the river bank. Here, near the people, the fox decided to profit from something. The fox dug a hole and lay down in it with its belly up. She buried herself in a hole, only sticking out one tongue. The red tongue is far visible.

The fox lies there, lies there, and suddenly sees a raven flying. And the raven saw the red tongue and thought: “Hey, here’s my dinner!”

The raven flew up to the fox and grabbed his tongue with its beak, and the fox then grabbed him by the head, laughing:

- Yeah, you taught the bird wisely, and now I’ll teach you a lesson.

The raven asks the fox:

- Oh-oh, don’t kill me so shamefully. If you kill like that, no one will praise you. It’s better to lift me onto a rock, place me over a cliff, run up and push me down.

The fox thinks: “Really, this is how we need to teach him a lesson, let him fall and break his bones!”

That's what the fox did: she put the raven on a rock, ran up and wanted to push him. And the raven spread its wings and flew. The fox couldn't hold on while running and fell off the cliff and crashed.
