Fox and goose

Fox and goose
Enlight

The fox and the goose agreed to live together. When one of them went to get food, the other looked after the babies. Some time passed like this.

One day the goose left, but the fox stayed at home. The day was sunny, and she took the kids to the edge of the forest. Being hungry, the fox ate one of the goslings.

The goose returned and asked:

— What new happened this day? How are our children doing?

“Our affairs are bad,” the fox began to lament. “One cub is missing.”

- Yours or mine? - asked the goose.

- What difference does it make, they are common. “But I remember that the missing man had a long neck,” the fox answered without blinking an eye.
